Peter moves effortlessly between high profile television drama and commercials. For TV he has directed cult classic like ‘Shameless’, ‘Teachers’, ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl’ and ‘Vincent’. He won a Royal Television Society Award for his gripping four part period drama ‘Garrow’s Law’ for BBC1.
Peter cut his directing teeth as a documentary maker with award winning films for BBC Arena and The South Bank Show. His BAFTA nominated biography of Peter Sellers won three major awards in the US.
He is now putting this experience to good use in commercials. His hugely successful campaign for Sky Broadband wittily subverted classic fairy tales like The Princess and the Pea, Aladdin, The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
Clients such as Carlsberg, William Hill, Discovery Channel, IKEA and Orange have all benefited from Peter’s ability to deliver great comedic performances; something that can be seen in his recent brilliant ad featuring Al Pacino.
